team is available to help.

When should I visit Truss Vet?

If you are concerned about your dog or cat, come and see us. Similar to human urgent care, we treat non-life threatening emergencies that don’t belong in the ER but need medical attention quickly. We work hand-in-hand with referring hospitals to get you the care you need when you need it most.

When should I go to my primary vet or the ER?

You should visit your primary vet for your pet’s annual or semi-annual check-ups, vaccinations, and preventatives. For life-threatening emergencies or surgeries, you should take your pet to the ER as soon as possible.

Less waiting, more relief.

From our fear-free practices to our innovative workflow designed to limit time spent in waiting rooms, our veterinary care team is dedicated to providing stress-free experiences for pets, so every visit is less scary. We want your pet to relax—so you can too.

What People Are Saying

Easily the greatest experience I’ve ever had with a vet. Everyone was very kind and genuine and treated my kitty as their own. They were very open about pricing and thorough when going over test results. 10/10 would recommend.

Cannot say enough good things. They were warm, caring, thorough, kind, knowledgeable and just an overall great experience. So thankful for their time and effort in caring for our old chocolate man.

- Elizabeth H.

From check in to check out, every aspect of my experience at Truss was positive. I also was given a breakdown of findings in layman’s terms, and felt very heard/had my questions answered. I will absolutely be coming back here and cannot recommend this practice nearly enough to pet owners in the Triangle.

My dog is a shy rescue and I’ve never seen her so comfortable in an unfamiliar place. Even when Dr. Waltz had to deliver some not-so-great lab results, she was comforting, kind and made me feel like I was getting the news from someone who truly cared about my dog and her well-being rather than from a stranger.
