team is available to help.

When should I visit Truss Vet?

If you are concerned about your dog or cat, come and see us. Similar to human urgent care, we treat non-life threatening emergencies that don’t belong in the ER but need medical attention quickly. We won’t replace your primary veterinarian (we don’t offer annual exams or vaccines), but we do work hand-in-hand with referring hospitals to get you the care you need when you need it.

When should I go to my primary vet or the ER?

You should visit your primary vet for your pet’s annual or semi-annual check-ups, vaccinations, and preventatives. For life-threatening emergencies or surgeries, you should take your pet to the ER as soon as possible.

Less waiting, more relief.

From our fear-free practices to our innovative workflow designed to limit time spent in waiting rooms, our veterinary care team is dedicated to providing stress-free experiences for pets, so every visit is less scary. We want your pet to relax—so you can too.

What People Are Saying

Dr. Waffa never gave up on us and ultimately found a treatment that not only kept our dog alive but returned him to living a happy life. There were times when we found ourselves forced to go to emergency care, when we knew the solution was fluids and nausea meds. Or not able to get into emergency care, when our dog’s life was at risk. The urgent care model is a much needed solution for both timing and access of care. We highly recommend the care of the Truss Vet team.

When we learned our cat was in pretty serious pain, we relied heavily on the team at Truss Vet. The whole team was supportive, shared research, treatment options and joined us in the decision-making process which ultimately led to quick and considerate care of a pet that’s part of our family. Thanks to everyone at Truss Vet for treating our pet like your own!
